Welcome to the NDSOC Website

Datsun Roadster Nationals The Nissan Datsun Sports Owners Club based in Victoria is a club of hundreds of enthusiastic members enjoying our great club events. From Track days to country drives.  Amongst club members we have interests as diverse as Track Days, Sprints, Social Drives, Car Shows, Concourse etc.  With a strong club membership & financial backing NDSOC can cater to all lovers of the Nissan/Datsun Marque.  Your membership will entitle you to a monthly magazine of around 40 pages plus an annual membership card. 

We hold our monthly General Meetings at Bell’s Hotel, 157 Moray Street, South Melbourne (Corner of Coventry and Moray - Melway Ref: 1D L12) on the First Wednesday of the month. An average attendance of 40 members enjoy a bite to eat, drink at the bar and mingle with other car nuts.  We invite all Nissan fans and prospective members to come along and enjoy a night with us.

August Mystery Drive

Not a mystery this month!

Destination: Greg Brown’s mystery route somewhere around the Gold Fields around Bendigo

When: Sunday 1st August 2010

Time: 9.30am departure Shell Westgate Outbound.

 

 A route has been carefully plotted from Melbourne to Castlemaine taking in some sensational Country Roads and indeed some great Back Roads. Roads that “flow & twist” through green forest scenery and old Towns from the day. . Cost: Petrol, Morning Tea and Lunch

August General Meeting

370Z Dash The club holds monthly general meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at the Bell's Hotel - South Melbourne.  The general meetings are chaired by the committee and often include guest speakers and video presentations. The meetings are very social and a great opportunity for club members to get together on a regular basis for a beer and a laugh as well as swap stories and information.

Time:  10.00am Bunnings Cranbourne (Crn Sth Gippsland Hwy and Thompsons Rd Cranbourne)

 

This is a great day to enjoy the rolling hills of Gippsland and seaside towns of Inverloch and surrounding coastline! Meet at  Bunnings for club drive to the track. Departing at 10.00am sharp!

Supersprint Series starts April 4

Victorian SuperSprint Championship Round 1: Sandown, Sunday, April 4, 2010For the first time in Victoria, car club members with a CAMS L2S (or superior) who attend the track days organised by their club or other CAMS affiliated clubs have an opportunity to compete for the tile of ‘Victorian Champion’ either ‘outright’ or in a particular ‘Category’ or ‘Class’. There are up to 93 trophies to be won.

Who can enter? The Victorian SuperSprint Championship is open to anyone who holds a CAMS L2S (or superior) and is a member of a CAMS affiliated club.

What car can I bring? Just enter the car you normally use at your club track day. Everything from the 'daily driver' through to the dedicated Race Car is eligible for a trophy in this event. The Championship will be decided over three rounds. To win the Championship or a particular Category or Class you will need to compete in at least two Championship Rounds and in most cases three. Championship Rounds will be held at Sandown, Phillip Island and Winton.

When is the first round? The first Championship Round will be held at Sandown on Sunday, April 4, 2010. Entries are open NOW.

The Victorian SuperSprint Championship has its own website which will tell you all you need to know about the Championship and it’s where you will be able to download all the documents you’ll need to enter.
