The Board of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport has approved the establishment of the Australian Classic Tarmac Rally Championship for cars that date pre 1982.  |

Horsepower of a different kind will conclude Melbourne's spring of racing when the 2008 Shannons Nationals wraps up at Sandown Raceway next weekend, 29-30 November.
Six categories will hit the Melbourne circuit; also bringing to a close another big year of motorsport in Australia's sporting capital.

The Sofitel Melbourne will play host to the revamped evening which will include live entertainment, dancing, awards and a three-course meal. |
